_{For those of you that weren't able to attend, we had a wonderful picnic on the Canal at Jerry and Carolyn Shimek's vacation home at "Stetsons" on the 1st of August.  Many thanks to Jerry and Carolyn for being generous and fantastic hosts.  And thank you to the many classmates who assisted in making this happen.  The 42 people who attended enjoyed a beautiful day, quality burgers, dogs & oysters from the BBQ, great side dishes brought by attendees, and most importantly a relaxed atmosphere for leisurely visiting with classmates.  The day ended all to quickly.  The good news is Jerry says "Let's do this again!"}
